The formation was identified as a boat by skilled photogrammetry experts. Ron Wyatt and his team performed electronic and mechanical probing for twelve years, which confirmed the discovery. The radar scans revealed bulkheads and structures deep within the formation. Other exciting details were the detection of deck timber specimens and five layers of petrified wood.

The earthquake had split down the formation in the middle, and the earth had fallen away from its sides. It made it possible for Ron Wyatt (1933-1999) to measure the object’s depth and document the dimensions of the exposed main structural timbers. Ron sincerely believed that the Creator caused the earthquake to help his work.
Chemical analysis of many different samples taken at different times by other people positively proves it to be composed of very ancient wood and metal. The metal detector scans confirmed there were high concentrations of metals at symmetrical intervals. On the Ark, the metal detecting equipment gave positive readings on its calibrated dial and by sound at numerous points all over the boat. They determined a pattern in the structure revealing the anatomy of a ship. The testing of the surrounding area was entirely negative.
In 1991 they found a fossilized rivet-head, which gave more insight into the fittings used in constructing the massive ship. The quantitive elemental analysis of the rivet revealed 9% aluminum, 10% iron, 1% magnesium, 3% sodium, and 2% titanium. Modern science could not refine titanium before 1936. Yet, there was a fossilized specimen with elements of very advanced metal production. The process of refining titanium involves sodium and magnesium. Both are present in the rivet-head analysis: this is pretty conclusive evidence that Noah and those who helped him were far advanced in the knowledge of metallurgy.
The object is 515-foot long and 138-foot wide. These are the Ark’s measurements recorded by Moses (he used Egyptian cubit) in Genesis, and it is located at the very place written in Scriptures: in the mountains of Ararat. Another evidence is that this location is far away from any present or ancient body of water. This fact precludes any other explanation for how the remains of a ship of this size got there.

The Bible revolutionized ship-building
“The Ark was considered for ages to be clumsy, strangely-shaped hulk, somewhat like the models sold in toy-shops for children, but the idea has been entirely changed. In 1609 Peter Jansen, a Dutch shipbuilder, determined to construct a ship on the lines given for the Ark. And, though he was much ridiculed that time, he succeeded. He found that his boat would safely carry from thirty to forty percent more cargo in proportion to others, and people soon followed his example. In Appleton’s Cyclopaedia, we read-
“It is remarkable that the Ark’s proportions of length, breadth, and depth are almost precisely the same, considered by our most eminent architects the best for combining the elements of strength, capacity, and stability.“
A later writer remarks-
“The Bible revolutionized ship-building, and the millions that go on the sea owe the change to it. Since that the Cunaders, the Collins, the White Star, and Inman line Companies have built their ocean steamships after the scientific pattern of HIM, whose way is perfect, and who designed Noah’s Ark.”
