“4…know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with YAHUAH? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of YAH.”

James 4 —Eth Cepher

I was in my thirties when I realized nobody ever told me how important it would be to study Scriptures. Maybe, I had read one hundred books in my life, searching for knowledge and wisdom, but did not think about the Bible. Of course, I was familiar with some of the biblical stories and thought “I knew” what’s was all about. I had spent a couple of years studying the truth about history and the science of life’s intelligent design. Discoveries like that led me to understand that a Creator exists. Since then, I study Scriptures from where I learned the true origin and history of humankind and recognized that this work must be divinely inspired. All of the Bible scholars agree with this fact. Besides that, I realized that we could not develop any western civilization without God’s laws. I understood that no human could invent the Commandments of EL and His predictions.

One might think that the catholic church and the other leading Christian religions already teach the message of our Creator, but that’s untrue. The main religions have abandoned many fundamental biblical teachings, thereby misleading people. They contradict the will of ELOHIYM in many ways. As I was reading the commandments in the Bible, I understood that the Path of Righteousness is hidden from most of us.

The Path

There are more than ten commands in the Bible. First, it is ELOHIYM’s intention with man to live with his wife and have children. God repeatedly says, “be holy” and perfect. He commanded Noah’s family not to kill. Further studies provide several other important guidelines. Elohiym calls the things abomination we shouldn’t do.

If you care about the will of our Creator, and you decide to follow His commandments, you will become a part of an extraordinary group, or “peculiar people” who walk the Way. You will be a different person than the non-believers, you will eat other foods, and you will respect the festivities of YAHUAH while you will care less about the things of the world. You will abandon many old customs and pagan traditions when you realize that they may be abominations in the eyes of the Creator. Such are the pagan traditions and celebrations of the world. It is not hard to leave old habits, the only problem that the world hates everyone who is not part of it. You will become an enemy of the world. Your friends and even your family may turn against you just for being different.

Commandments

Six hundred thirteen commands in the Scriptures taught man right from wrong according to His Holy Rules. We must understand, however, that nobody is expected to adhere to “all 613 commands” as most of them were directed at the priests; some were only for men; some only for women; and some were only for a specific timeframe. But some were meant to last forever – and those are the ones that believers must pay attention to, the “forever” commands.

While YHWH eventually recorded ten in stone (Exodus 20), we must remember, these ten are just part of the larger picture taken from His Torah, which He said would stand forever.

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love YAHUAH ELOHIYM with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

Matthew 22

The Torah (the first five books of Moses) and the Prophets hang on those two commands. There’s more to it than just “loving God and loving your neighbor!” God still expects His people to adhere to His Divine Standards for moral. Note that it doesn’t say they replaced the Torah.

It’s time to realize that the seventh-day Sabbath command, along with His seven feasts and the dietary law, was never abolished.

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of YAHUAH, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of ELOHIYM may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

2 Timothy 3

All Scripture” means all the 87 books of the Old and the New Testaments.

ELOHIYM did not “do away with Torah” (His Divine Instructions in Righteousness found in the first five Books of the Bible). Jesus attempted to abolish the rabbinical, man-made “stuff” – the opinions and traditions of men, and the animal sacrifices. Neither he nor his apostles ever spoke against Torah nor suggested that after Jesus’s death, Torah was to become null and void. (That is a strictly Christian concept that cannot be verified in Scripture.) Paul (upon whose much-misunderstood writings Christianity has based its entire theology) confirmed this when he said:

31 Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law.”

Romans 3

15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.”

There are more than ten commands in the Bible

Dietary law

There are clear and specific laws about clean and unclean animals in the Bible. Unclean animals are forbidden foods. Today, Christians generally do not follow these instructions anymore and eat without dietary restrictions. Is this for a good reason, or have we dismissed something important?

The law that EL gave to Moses had a lot to say about animals. It detailed which animals were clean or unclean (see Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14). These chapters are about specifying the differences.

“46 This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the Earth: 47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.”

Leviticus 11

So what animals does the Bible say not to eat? There are several criteria that distinguish one group from the other. Amazingly, God has given man such clear descriptions.

Other Scriptures forbid eating all kinds of blood and fat. (Genesis 9, Leviticus 3)

The New Testament did not abolish the Dietary laws

One of the biggest mistakes of the Christian church is that they misinterpret specific passages of Scripture, such as:

To understand those texts, you should read them in context. Christians are misled by the church think those texts allow them to eat anything that creeps on Earth. If you want to get the whole picture, you must consider both the writings of the Old and New Testaments.

The Seventh Day Sabbath

Sabbath falls on Saturday in today’s calendar. ELOHIYM ordered us not to work on Sabbath. He gave us this day so we can relax and as a sign between Him and the elect. In today’s fast-paced world, where everyone is in a hurry and stressed, anyone could appreciate that one day, doing nothing. If you keep the Sabbath, you don’t lose a day; you will win a day. That time is an excellent opportunity to study Scripture. In addition to the weekly Sabbaths, seven more per year belong to the holy celebrations; they can fall on any day of the week. You can find the dates below.

ELOHIYM told us that the Sabbath would forever be a sign between Him and the children of Israel. (Exodus 31:13; Exodus 31:16-17; Leviticus 23:3) In the end times (which we are in now), the seventh-day Sabbath will distinguish TRUE believers from the “lukewarm.”

Exodus 31: 16 “Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant17 It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days YAHUAH made the heavens and the Earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.'”

The seven feasts of YAHUAH

To know when and how to hold YAHUAH’S feasts, you need to follow the correct calendar. The days of the seven holy feasts are precisely defined in Scripture. We need to know where to count from, i.e., which is the first day of the year? Before the Roman Church had modified the calendar, days and months had no names. They were called by numbers, i.e., “first day” (Sunday), “second day” (Monday) … etc. Only the seventh day had a name. The months were similar; there were no “January” or “March”. The name of four months is still reminiscent of the original calendar, i.e., the correct calendar: September means seven, October means eight, November means nine, and December ten.

The first day of the year was not the 1st of January initially, but it had always been the first day of Spring, the 21st of March. You will find the description of the biblical holy days in Leviticus 23 and Deuteronomy 16.

Today’s official Jewish calendar may not be correct because it also takes the lunar phases into account when calculating. This is because their tradition is different from the Bible and follows the Talmud and Kabbalah and not exclusively the Bible. ELOHIYM’s holy days always fall on the same dates year after year.

#1 THE PASSOVER

The fourteenth day of the first month, the 3rd of April.

#2 THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD

From the fifteenth to the twenty-first day of the first month, April 4th-10th. The first and the last day is a sabbath.

#3 PENTECOST

Seven whole weeks from the second day of Passover, the 23rd of May. Sabbath.

#4 THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS

The first day of the seventh month, the 19th of September. Sabbath.

#5 THE DAY OF ATONEMENT

The tenth day of the seventh month, the 28th of September. Sabbath.

#6 THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES

From the 15th to the 22nd day of the seventh month, October 3-9. The 3rd of October: Sabbath.

#7 THE LAST GREAT DAY

The seventh and the last feast of a year is on the 10th of October, Sabbath.

No other feast has been ordained for us by the Creator. Therefore, national holidays, Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Sock’s Day, Dog’s and Cat’s day, etc., cannot be a part of the lives of the elect.

Wearing tzitzit

Wearing tzitzit, the “tassels” on the four corners of our garments is still a command. Today, we don’t have “four-cornered” garments, but we can loop them through our belt loops or wear special shirts with tzit-tzit attached.

37 ADONAI said to Moshe, 38 “Speak to the people of Isra’el instructing them to make, through all their generations, tzitzit on the corners of their garments, and to put with the tzitzit on each corner a blue thread.”

 Abominations

An abomination is something that causes hate or disgust. Biblically, an abomination is something that God hates because it is offensive to Him and His character. Abomination is defined as anything abominable, anything intensely disliked or hated. It points to an intense aversion or loathing as well as a vile, detestable, or shameful action, condition, or habit.

Abomination is used symbolically of sin in general (Isaiah 66:3); an idol (Isaiah 44:19); the ceremonies of the apostate church of Rome (Revelation 17:4); and a detestable act (Ezekiel 22:11). Occult practices are also called an abomination in Scripture, child sacrifice (Deuteronomy 18:9–12; 20:18; 2 Chronicles 28:3). The Scriptures reveal other abominations in God’s sight like homosexuality and adultery (Leviticus 18:22–29; 20:13; Deuteronomy 24:4), imperfect sacrifices (Deuteronomy 17:1), cross-dressing (Deuteronomy 22:5), wickedness (Proverbs 15:9, 26), dishonest business dealings (Deuteronomy 25:13–16; Proverbs 11:1; 20:10, 23), turning a deaf ear to God’s instructions (Proverbs 28:9), hypocritical offerings from the unrepentant (Proverbs 15:8; Isaiah 1:13), and partaking in injustice (Proverbs 17:15).

From idolatry to ungodly sexual relationships to unfair scales to wickedness of various kinds, abominations separate people from God. We can say that all sin (missing the mark of God’s perfection) can be considered an abomination. Behold, all sin separates us from God and is detestable to Him (Romans 3:23; 6:23; Proverbs 15:9).

Conclusion

People are afraid of many things in life. They keep watching the news, believing the circus that goes on TV. They fear the future, governments, epidemics and natural disasters, existing and invented threats. They do it wrong. They have forgotten about the Creator and do not trust in His help.

Do not worry about the news, don’t ever be afraid of death! You have to fear God alone! If you ask, He will take good care of you.

But in vain has the Creator promised us eternal life if almost no one is willing to walk the right path:

“1 And then I had made an end of speaking these words, there was sent unto me the angel …And he said unto me, Up, Ezra, and hear the words that I am come to tell you. … then said he unto me… … A city is built, and set upon a broad field, and is full of all good things: 7 The entrance thereof is narrow, and is set in a dangerous place to fall, like as if there were a fire on the right hand, and on the left a deep water: 8 And there is but one path between them, even between the fire and the water, so small that there could but one man go there at once. 9 If this city now were given unto a man for an inheritance, if he ever shall pass the danger set before it, how shall he receive this inheritance? … 19 And he said unto me. There is no judge above ELOHIYM, and none that has understanding above EL ELYON. 20 For there be many that perish in this life, because they despise the Torah of ELOHIYM that is set before them.

4 Ezra 7 —Eth Cepher

“12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the Way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the Way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Matthew 7

14 For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Matthew 22

16 He has set fire and water before you: stretch forth your hand unto whether you will. 17 Before man is life and death; and whether him likes shall be given him. 18 For the wisdom of YAHUAH is great, and he is mighty in power, and beholds all things: 19 And his eyes are upon them that fear him, and he knows every work of man. 20 He has commanded no man to do wickedly, neither has he given any man licence to sin.”

Ecclesiasticus (SIRACH) 15 —Eth Cepher

You can only really grasp the Creator’s will and His path in life if you read the Bible regularly and meditate on it day and night. If you seek YAHUAH with all your heart and do your best to keep His “forever” commands, you will get to live forever, as He promised to us.

We’ll look at what the Holy Feasts mean and why it’s crucial to keep them in the following tasks. We will also examine the world’s pagan traditions and why it is wrong to partake in them.
